Consider a lifestyle eating change, such as a South Beach diet (it really does work. Really. And you eat very well on it).

Walk a lot, and exercise 45-1 hour a day. If it's walking, jogging, sit-ups, dancing, weights, etc. go for it. Just don't overdo it and wear out or hurt yourself.

Talk to your physician about plans to lose weight.

Drink a lot of water, stop drinking soda almost all-together (that can drop 1-2 pounds a week)

Stop eating out, if you do, and stick with foods like Subway if you do, or limit your portions as much as possible. Stick to one plate of food and save some for lunch the next day.

Park far away when you go somewhere- you get more walking in!

Consider home videos to work out to, like Tae-bo, Jane Fonda, Richard Simmons, etc.

exercise is the key no question
think of it as a math problem
calories in - calories out = either more fat or less fat
exercise burns calories
It also helps to drink lots of water and take vitamins

I'm going to tell you what my doctor told me......it's not so much what you eat as it is how much. Watch your portions and of course cut your intake of sweets and fried foods.
