Oh yes, and don't give me answers that could be explained away by saying you have schizophrenia either. tangible proof would be wonderful.

ASHLEY hit the nail on the head. in order to have faith you have to NOT know for sure, otherwise it's knowledge and no longer faith. so why have faith then? because you'll get a reward after you die?

110% sure, i love your exaggeration! it fits with christian ideology. the bible is not USED for archaeological exavation as you would like to presume. people are still curious as to where these place are and when these things took place, which is good! did you know, for example, that the "time" when the israelites were supposed to be liberated from egypt ALL OF THAT AREA WAS PART OF EGYPT? that means that they escaped what we think of egypt now only to move to another part of egypt.

also:
Genesis 17: 9-11
And God said to Abraham, “...This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your descendants after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.”

Egyptians had already been circumsising for awhile before this.

The ONLY correct answer to that is No, and anyone who says otherwise is lying, deceived, or retarded.

easy how can you know fire is hot. Go touch it. Once you have the spirit of God, you will know. Belief is wonderful but full assurance is better.
Obviously their is 1 truth. So the question is what is. I believe the bible & science agrees.

Its a supernatural event that occured when I gave my life to Christ. I realized after reading the bible that I couldn't make it on my own. For God is even concerned with the thought life. Its not some kind of head knowledge, either. Its almost like the doubt I had growing up, was all removed from me, and a new spirit with complete confidence came in me. It made me a new creature called born again. It will sound completley ridiculous to someone that hasn't experienced it. But for an infinetly powerful God nothing is impossible. I would be skeptical of it too. But God promises those that seek shall find. And yes it requires faith to go look in the first place, but that faith can be turned into complete confidence when found.

Yes I'm 110% sure ! as history & archaeology has un earthed places exactly where the bible has said they are, no other book can or has done that ! also the bible has foretold prophecys that were told centuries ago which are coming to pass in our life time. Israel became a nation in 1948 & was told in the bible thouands of years before hand !

Faith Hebrews 11:1. Nobody likes that answer, but then I have my own proof, healings, three exxperiences were I almost died, ect all of which Athiest will say I convinced my mind it could happen, or I was deluded or had a hallucination, so we come back to faith...And if I had written the Bible like the athiest say I did, my religion would not be based on faith. So maybe...I didn't create my religion, God did. HHHmmmmm.

They are sure because of faith. Faith isn't the knowledge of truth. It is the comforter in the absence of truth.

As God is a faceless, distant, super-duper spiritual sugar daddy that floats in the sky, the survival of their faith is DEPENDENT upon NOT BEING SURE.

BLIND FAITH is ignorance masked as hope.

You don't know for sure. You just put your heart and faith into believing in God, and in my case, Jesus dieing for my sins. By doing so, you leave no room for doubts.

They don't, but they are the wrong ones to ask this question, cause they are always right. In their own minds.
