umm It depends on the situation in which the heart was used. In a positive note, it would mean being struck by Cupid's arrow. i.e. being in love, in like, or having a crush on someone. But in a negative note, it would represent a broken heart.

if it's like a heart with a slash through it, it may be like the slash of a no smoking sign meaning she doesn't love something/someone and if it's horizontal through the center with little arrows on the ends :) lol that's cupid's arrow and she's infatuated
