I'm kinda wondering because I'm working on a character and I have no clue what a Wingman is.

Okay so those are good answers but i have one more question. What happenes if a THE girl that the wingman is supposed to get for his friend falls for the wingman?

Hmmmm.
The problem is most ladies go out in pairs. If you want to hit up on one, your wingman takes care of the other, or prevents the one you want from pushing you off to her friend.
If you're a good wingman, you;ll take the less desirable one so your wingman gets the score (kill).
Some day he'll do the same for you.

In dating it is the friend (usually a dude) who helps you to get the ladies. Usually used in bars or other places where approaching strange woman is required. They may introduce you or talk to the lady you are pursuing for you.
