I'm very familiar with it. This DVD has been out a while, in fact. The author, Brian Flemming, obviously doesn't (or didn't) have a clue on what Biblical theology is. If you ever watched the DVD, you'd realize this.
Anyway...yeah. You give them your soul...and you get a free DVD. And you prove your damnation by uploading your "blasphemy" to YouTube...and that's it. You're damned to an eternal Hell. Blah. Blah. Blah.
These folks don't even know what they're talking about. They have no concept at all on blasphemy. Many of these people will not even begin to fit into the category of those who have blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is only committed by people who have a tremendous amount of light. And, I assure you, these people that have uploaded their "damnation videos" on YouTube, probably have never even read a single book of the Bible...much less being exposed to a tremendous amount of light that would render them guilty of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
So...yeah. This appeals mostly to young people & those who have no Biblical knowledge who react wildly to anything that's rebellious in nature. Reminds me of the 70's era.

I do not believe in the Holy Spirit. I do not believe in the Holy Spirit. I do not believe in the Holy Spirit. Does that count? Am I condemned to Hell now? Do I get a free DVD? Can I get Star Wars the Phantom Menace? The neighbor boy had to go home and took his copy with like 1/2 a lap of the pod race left and I still don't know if Anakin won.

In Matthew 12:32 Jesus said, "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man [His name for himself] will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come." Something similar is also found in Mark 3:29, "But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."
There is a lot of disagreement about what it means to "speak against" or "blaspheme" the Holy Spirit. But since Hell is everlasting torment, I sure wouldn't take any chances. And this looks like a pretty good case for being considered blasphemy.

Denying the Holy Spirit isn't condemning themself to Hell. By their actions, they arrive there without the vows.
These people are trying to point out the unpardonable sin as a dare for God to throw them to Hell, if He exists to them.
Problem is these people don't understand Scriptures totally, either.

You are not condemned to hell until your physical life is done. I pray for those who partake in this challenge as they are only hurting their own relationship with God. I hope they realize that He does not sway from his intentions just because everyone decides to sign a petition against him or riot in the streets against his purpose. I truly and deeply hope that god has mercy on their souls.

I never heard of this but since you mention it I feel like a person must not be too bright to condemn them self to hell for a DVD that they could actually make themselves for less than a quarter.

I think it's another lame pop culture fad. I didn't know about it until you mentioned it. Checked out a few videos. Quit from boredom.

I could do that. I definitely do not believe in the HS and I do not believe I am going to hell. I just dont have to have a video camera handy.
Notice it says that you dont have to say that you dont beleive in God or Jesus. There is a difference.

I've seen it, but they ruined it by saying the price of the DVD is one soul. I don't believe I have a soul, so I'm out of luck.

Yes, it's from the Rational Response Squad. It proves a point:
that god is totally imaginary.
Hell isn't real so nothing will actually happen if you deny the "holy spirit".
It's no different than if you deny Zeus or Invisible Unicorns....they aren't real.
Try this site: www.godisimaginary.com for an overwhelming amount of evidence that god is imaginary.
