no u wont go bald, i once permed my hair myself and it was BAD!!! when it was wet it would be gooey and steack and break and when it was dry it would break so easily, the wind blew and it would break ha ha. but i got all the dead stuff cutt off and its back to normal now. and another time i colored my hair black and i swear alot of hair started to fall out i so cried. i color my hair alot and perm it somtimes and im not bald so no you will not loose your hair. the worst that can happen is you can mess it up bad enough where you have to get most of it cutt off (get a short hair cutt) but you wont go bald.

Stop with the perm thing immediately, you're burning your hair and yes you can go bald in some places. There's no lotion or solution other than stop what you're doing. You need to get a short hair cut to cut of the dead hair and start going to a hairdresser. Take a B-complex vitamin a day with a meal to force hair growth and also a Vitamin C and Calcium and drink 8 glasses of water. What goes into your body goes into your hair too.

Stop perming if it is doing that to you. It is really bad for your hair. There are so many styles and ways to fix hair now. Perms aren't really used much anymore. Get a good cut and color that helps keep hair healthy. Also, eat well and drink lots of water, don't smoke, drink alcohol and get a physical and have your thyroid checked. Very common to be sluggish, tired, slow to think, brittle hair and nails and tired all the time are symptoms of a hypothyroid. Good luck.

If you just got the perm use vinegar--that will neutralize it so that you can be sure the perm has stopped acting. Go to a salon and let them do some intense conditioning. or you get a conditioner from a salon and do it yourself with moist heat (hot wet towels wrapped around it) Don't worry, it will stop coming out. Alterna puts out a incrediably strong conditioner and I have seen hair come back to life after that was used.

Maybe you are getting breakage from the perm. The bands on the rods can cause breakage if not put on correctly. Also keep in mind it is normal to loose an estimated 100 strands of hair a day.

Perming is a lot of stress on hair but isn your hair naturally thick?
Mine is, and I swear I should be bald by now. Everytime I get out of the shower, when you put a comb through it so much comes out.
I woulnd't worry about it unless it's a lot more then what usually sheds.

yeah i have the same problem. the first time i permed my hair, i thought i was gonna go bald.
you just have to make sure you REPAIR your hair from the perm. like getting it deep conditioned every week.
right now, i'm using Loreal Hair Fixer. it's really easy to use and is working so far.
also, make use you use a shampoo thats aimed for "damaged, thin, color treated or permed" hair...like Dove or Tressemme.

Don't perm your hair is about the only solution.
No you won't go bald.
I've permed my hair a few times before.
And lost some hair with it.
But you aren't going to go bald.
