can anyone out there tell me how you would go about getting copy rights to a song that i wrote I really think it will make it on country Thank's

a poor boy's copyrite it to send yourself a copy of the song on paper through the mail and ask that it be signed for when you pick it up. that is proof of sorts but the best way is with a lawyer

You could go to www.soundclick.com, create a profile, and upload your song there. It will automatically be published and copyrighted once placed on that website.

To do it the poor way, put your song on a CD and mail it to yourself in an envelope. Don't break the seal.

By the way, if you choose the first option, I would very much like to hear it!

see a lawyer and make sure you have proof that you actually wrote the song in the first place...and also make sure you didn't sign away the rights to the song...
