i rele like on of my closest guy friends. i always kind of have, but he's never liked me back. he likes one of my friends. and they've gone out multiple times and everytime she just hurts him. i don't understand why he likes her. she's slutty but still.... i would never hurt him.... but he doesn't see me as anything more. can guys never learn from their mistakes?

You need to tell him how you feel. He's probably oblivious to your feelings. He can't read your mind & you can't expect him to. I've been there girl. We were "best friends" for 5 yrs. I felt for him for almost that long. We lost touch until 5 more yrs. When we met up again I found out that he was gay. My point is, I could have saved myself alot of time & emotions if I had chosen to talk to him, maybe he would have opened up to me. Your friend is probably not gay, but if you share your feelings you'll be able to begin a whole new chapter in your relationship or move on.

IF he is a close friend then yes he DOES like you, he just doesn't WANT a realtionship with you. You can't FORCE someone to want a relationship with you.
