Sounds like a really dry skin problem, some people just have that condition. Use something like vaseline every night and then during the day use a dry skin formulated lotion something with lanolin or oatmeal. You can use a loofa sponge to scrub when soaking in the tub and use epsom salts rotated with baby oil that will also penetrate the dryness, salt works ok too. Good luck.

My best suggestion is to exfoliate and use a skin conditioning oil and good lotion.

Personally, I have this problem on the backs of my arms and legs and use the following:
1) Sea Salt Scrub
2) Skin Conditioning Oil
3) Not- so basic body lotion

The place I buy from offers a 45-day, money-back guarantee, so if you decide to try the products, you can always return them after a month if you don't see any results...can't hurt to try.

I buy from:

It is probably dry skin or you rubbed on your knees too much. My elbows are like that because I always bump them on a door or something. It is mainly because of dry skin.

Good Luck!!!

Try a rich lotion or cream, some are specifically made for bumpy elbows, however if it persists you need to see a doctor, because eczema and psoriasis starts on elbows and knees.

If its just dry skin, then put shortening on them before you go to bed and cut off the tip of a sock to put over it and wear it overnight, I saw this on the Tyra show.. it works pretty good.

use fresh lemons. You need to use the lemon rind on your knees and elbows. The citric juice in it will soften the dry skin.
also try using an astringent and body lotion.

They may just be dry skin. I have dry skin on my back and it feels bumpy too. Try putting lotion on it.
