seems to be the same thing, a person's advice, is merely their opinion.

I believe that an opinion is less personal and less direct than advice.(but this is just my opinion). However I think that I am correct.(therefore I would advise everyone to adopt a similar opinion as mine.

well to me giving advice is what you think the person should do and your opinion is what you think of what is taking place whether it be good or bad
