have an ex that i dated for 3 years and i love her with all my heart. In the end of the relationship i slacked off and pretty much pushed her away we been broken up for 3 months now lately she has been calling me alot i asked her out to dinner and im sorry for the way i treated her i want to know if theres a chance that i can show her that i still care and that im sorry and if i could get another chance. Have you ever been in this situation? i miss her so much i want to treat her like shes meant to be but is it too late??

SHE IS CALLING YOU!!! That is a clear sign she is willing to give the relationship another chance. Take it slow and make sure she know up front what you said here. IF you two get back together remember a solid relationship takes work everyday to keep it strong. Never "slack off" as you put it. Once you start taking each other for granted, it is over. Becoming comfortable is important, but never take each other for granted.

I have not been through this...but I know people who have.
I think first off you are doing the right thing and acceptiing that you were wrong, That shows that you are being honest to yourself. Next you need to be honest with her, you need to plan a time where the both of you can meet face to face, don't do it over the phone, anyone can do that and be lying. Do it face to face, so that she can see you square in the eye and know you are telling the truth. Be honest and say exactly how you feel. If it comes from the heart she will know. But don't be pushy about it either. Good luck.

First of all you have to apologize to her for the way you treated her before. Make sure she knows you're telling the truth. If there isn't a chance for another relationship; then tell her that you want her to know that at least you were willing to try harder to treat her like she should've been. She seems to want to be with you, though. So I would suggest trying not to make the same mistakes again.

You MAY be able to get another chance if you're serious. All you have to do is be honest and open with her about why you broke up, acknowledge your share of the blame, and convince her that you love her (not with words but with patience and effort) and will never pull that chit again. I'm not saying you have a sure fire shot, but if she's willing to go to dinner with you, there's your opening.
