How do I get loose waves in my hair?

Wash and condition hair as usual. Towel dry, use a wide tooth comb to remove all snarls and tangles. Section hair and braid each section. The braids should be fairly chunky and not too tight .
Keep hair braided overnight or till dry.
Undo braids and FINGER comb ( do not brush or comb)
You can use gel for styling hold
Result should be nice soft waves with great shine !

use a leave in curl enhacing product on wet hair. Bend over and scrunch hair with a towel, like your blotting you hair dry. Don't rub the towel, just blot your hair. Slowly flip your hair back up. Don't touch hair until it is dry. It should have wave then.

You need to use a body wave permanent if you want it permanent. If you just want it for the day buy a set of steam rollers, they do a great job. you can also use the long bendable sponge covered wire rollers, they are good for loose curls. Good luck.
