This is what my teacher suggested to me when I had to learn the PASSÉ COMPOSÉ :

Verbs which take être in the passé composé
Tomber
Rester
Arriver
Monter
Partir
Sortir The first letters of each verb spell ; TRAMPS

Descendre
Entrer
Mourir
Aller
Naître
Devenir The first letters of each verb spell : DEMAND

Rentrer
Revenir
Retourner These verbs all mean RETURN = 3 RETURN
TICKETS

Venir To ( any place starting with a “ V ” eg. VANCOUVER / VENZUELA / VEGAS etc.

So you just memorise the SENTENCE : TRAMPS DEMAND 3 RETURN TICKETS TO V……..

ALSO, please note that reflexive verbs take “ être ” in the passé composé
Eg. se laver = to wash oneself = Je me suis lavé

ALL OTHER VERBS TAKE “ AVOIR ” ( to have ) in the passé composé

It's être and not avoir:

Je suis né(e)
Tu es né(e)
Il est né
Nous sommes nés
Vous êtes nés
Ils sont nés

U would use etre (e.g. "je suis ne/nee"). But what u r looking 4 is "tu es ne/nee..." depends on whether the subject is masculine or feminine.

You use être. Example: The well-known
Christmas carol: Il est né.
He is born.
She is born = Elle est neé.
