Well by your Icon and your question I assume you are a minority. So let me ask you a question. Every time someone is rude to you, why does it have to be because you are a minority, maybe that person is just rude?
Yes there are some rude Officers out there. If he or she was rude to you, it may not be because you are a minority. It may simply be they are just rude.
Now back to your question. Not every Officer out there is rude and you can not support you claim unless you have had a lot of run in with the police. If you have maybe they have the right to be rude, because they are tired of dealing with you on a daily basis. Not because you are a minority, but because you refuse to learn to obey the law.

What is interesting, is the question you are asking is posed in a very prejudiced way. Not all police are rude. Not all police are rude to minorities. Very inappropriate wording.
Second, there is a difference in being rude, and being too the point. Police Officers are very busy. You also do not know what the Police Officer might have had to deal with before encountering you. If an officer just came from an accident where a child died because they were not belted in properly, they pull you over, and your three year old is just sitting in the back, he/she may come down on you a little harder than normal.
I would encourage those of you not in law enforcement to go on a ride-a-long, if your PD allows them. You will really get a good look at what we deal with day in and day out.
Maybe that would answer your question a little better than in here.

Because they hate minorities...they are constantly exposed to worst elements of a communities as for most cases of minorities we're talking about the impoverished sections. These sections of the impoverished minority groups are filled with buffoonery acts, so police are guilty of stereotyping that all minorities only can rise to the lowest common denominator. The offense comes when a net is casted on all for the actions of the some.

I had one be rude to me, I was stopped for a traffic ticket. My friend is homeless and was riding with me. His hair is a little long and we were wearing jeans etc. When I couldn't find the paperwork for the car the officer snapped at me "how do I know this isn't a stolen car?
I said nothing, I give her my license and she went back to her patrol car (I guess to get on the radio). Then I was given a ticket and left.
What bothers me about this if we had been driving a nicer car or wearing nice clothes would we had been spoken to like this?
I think it all depends what you look like and the way you are dressed as to how an officer deals with you.

Police officers are people too. And believe me, having had to help them as an ambulance driver, I've seen why they can have short tempers.
Look at the statistics, who do police officers regularly get called to? White trash and minority homes/shacks. Over time, they get used to this, and begin classifying these types of people by the way they look, dress, and act.

Judging by your Ghetto screen name, do you expect people to take you seriously when you act ignorant.
Ebonics is not a seperate language. It's just ghetto and ghetto is uneducated. Why do you want to appear to the world as uneducated. Your question is posed in acceptable english. stick with it.
And as thanson73 pointed out and I have observed myself in the Navy and Security work that many want to use their status as a minority as an excuse. I can't remember how many times when I have busted someone for causing trouble at the mall or school function they have tried to play the race card saying I am harrassing them because they are black/hispanic/whatever. I bust white kids that are cutting up too. but they just want to use race as an excuse.

Believe me it has little to do with if you are part of the minorities. The police seem to be rude to all people that they see as "BAD."

I dispute your claim that the police, as a group, are rude as well as they are more rude to minorities than to members of the majority.
SOME officers are rude, just like SOME bank tellers, hair stylists, and doctors are rude.

MAYBE because their experience with minorities has not been positive. Most minorities are economically at a disadvantage. Because of this they commit crimes. Not every cop can be accounted for and you have to realize in big cities ( and rural) some are dirty.
