Don't always trust in looking for signs, because a person can be very shy in expressing him self. Most people uses phases to help determine what the person is thinking. Such as;
"What do you think of me?"
There is one solid way you find out, but If I were you I would be careful in doing this. Stop communicating with him completely. If he shows some desire to try and reach you, there the first sign. If he don't try and then you will know the truth.
The best way to find out is to ask him!

ok well usually the religion doesn't matter just as long as u both agree on the same things. but usually the guy will talk to u a lot more then others, he will smile a lot when hes around u, and if he is like one of the guys who cant talk straight while talking to a girl then thats another sign cause usually the guy will start stuttering. hope this helps.
