It's going to be a while before you are able to fly AirAsia to Europe, there's going to many air-route and airport issues that will need to be ironed out, as well as completion of the merger. Any bets that it won't happen by the proposed July 2007 date? There already is a discount airline flying between London and Hong Kong, Oasis Airlines, they are presently offering 160 British Pound flights, each way, and they give you food, too. And if you've ever flown AirAsia, I sure wouldn't want to spend 10 hrs. on one of their flights.
