I need to download an Inconvenient Truth trailer because I want to use some of the clips for a project I'm doing on Global Warming. I checked everywhere and I only found trailers where you need to download the player first and it only plays on it. I need a WMV file or something that I can edit.

download fraps www.fraps.com its a program that will let you record things that are viewed in full screen like videos or footage form a pc game. Every thing is pretty self explanitory and you shuld be able to figure out how to work every thing after you have it installed. What you want to do is open up the player and view it in full screen and start recording. At first it will save it as a avi file but you should be able to use that for your project or if you have to find a video converter so you can get it into the proper format.
