nope never. We're wired to get rid of all of our insecurities and don't care if we get turned down. I'll ask out anyone from Pamela Anderson to Halle Berry. Nope, not chicken at all.

sometimes there are girls we like but the situation does not really make it easy for us to go there (not single, work together, etc) but no most of the time we just are chicken. As long as we dont ask them out and get turned down the fantasy is still there. And to be honest the longer we wait and the longer we think about them, they only let us down if we actually do go out with them cos the reality never lives up to the fantasy in our heads. From now on I ask them out immediately regardless of situation, that way these are not issues...

I'm not shy, but every guy sees women and knows when one is out of his league. It has happened to me a lot over the years and it has nothing to do with my confidence. If you have someone you wish would approach you, make sure you aren't giving him signals that you are unapproachable. I have given up before I ever tied because the woman, however unintentional, made me think she was too stuck up to talk to me.

Yep. It petrifies me. One of my most painful memories was being rejected time after time again in junior high school. Over time, women made their interest known to me by winking, asking me over for dinner, and sometimes flat out talking dirty to me. I'm not shy, but it always helps me when the woman breaks the ice.

heck yes... almost every guy is scared at sometime about asking a girl out, even though they will never admit it. yes there are some guys who interract with girls well and it seems that they are never scared, but it just means that they hide this nervousness better than the rest.

Oh my GAWD yes. We're friggan terrified of asking women out, mainly because of the rejection factor. If the woman says no, that's a major blow to our self esteem. We usually are reluctant to ask, on the chance women say no.

yes almost 40 and still dont really know how to approach somone with evryone trolling and the clubs bieng a meat market as soon as you say hi it seems like ske thinks you want sex..so it's tough.to just meet somone and start a relationship
