You learn a valuable lesson. We take responsiblity for our actions and accept the consequences. Otherwise we would just stop. I've suffered consequences before and I learned to be more careful and thoughtful about my actions. I performed a curse once, which worked beautifully- didn't backfire so to speak- but I it also worked beautifully on me for two years. I performed a healing once and ended up with asthma and weird allergies. But my friend doesn't have them anymore, and eventually my asthma gradually resolved itself. Alas, I'm still allergic to bunnies and ferrets though. There have been some rather annoying side affects to various spells to make myself attractive to the opposite sex too. Like the opposite sex getting all possessive and irritating.
PS. Not Wiccan, I find Wicca to be rather... fluffy. But the sort of energy you generate and send out is going to affect you in some way or another, no matter what name you attach to it.

I'm interested in the 'back fire' part of that question. It would imply that you were trying to compel someone to do something or perhaps wish it harm. The 'rule of three' says that whatever you send out you get back 3x over. So if you were trying to send someone pain or suffering then you'd get a BOAT load of pain and suffering.
Other than that what you're getting back is positive, good energy which is a blessing.
So to answer your question: No I haven't. But then I'm careful about the spells I work.

I don't believe these women or gals who say it never came back, they are not for real then. I had a spell come back to me, now I have gastro-reflux. I even tried to cast demons out of my house, it worked for a while, but they always came back. I had a friend who was levitating a car and it fell on him, killing him. Thats the rule of three, it will come back to thee, if the person is not worthy..of the spell you cast on them.

A core belief of Wicca is whatever you send out comes back to you three times, so cast only positive benificial spells and you recieve back good and benificial things three times.

can you give us an example?
maybe it didn't backfire
wiccans cast spells for the good of all concerned
some spells do not work out exactly the way you want, because that would not be the best for everyone involved

mine never did. But I would be very afraid if it ever did! That is what got me out of Wicca. Mine NEVER backfired!! I got afraid. I thought" Gee this stuff REALLY DOES WORK!"
