The doctrines of Christianity are the doctrines taught in the entire Bible. A true Christian believes everything which the Bible teaches; including but not limited to Special Creation in 6 solar days, a world wide flood as recorded in Genesis, the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the divinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit as taught throughout the Bible; Jesus Christ suffered and died for the sins of mankind, was buried and bodily rose from the dead on the 3rd day, that salvation is a gift of God found only in Jesus Christ etc etc. The doctrines of the Bible are numerous and the only way to know what they are is to read the Bible
Note: The Book of Genesis is the foundation of the entire Bible, especially Special Creation in 6 solar days and the world wide flood

Excellent!
But, you would be surprised (perhaps not) how many don't know either what they believe, nor why they believe.
Too many churches these days preach "Ain't God lucky to have saints like you?" instead of the true Gospel.
Then, they come on places like this forum, and try to defend their faith, which may be 100 miles wide, but only a quarter inch deep.

You must believe that Jesus is the son of God, that he took on human form and lived a perfect life on earth, that he was crucified to pay the price for our sins, that he died, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day and now sits at the right hand of the Father. The blood of Jesus covers our sin and buys us salvation and eternal life with God through His son, Jesus.

the evolution part is a little tricky. its not right to assume that all christians do not believe in evolution. if a person says there can only be one right answer either creationism or evolution, that person obviously doesnt read their bible, nor do they understand the Truth. The Truth that Jesus wanted us to discover and embrace.

You must believe in who Christ is and what He did.
You must place your faith in who Christ is and what He did for your salvation. This is just one of many christian doctrines, but this is the most important.

I think most christians have no idea what their essential doctrines are, and are totally lost when they try to explain them. I know this, because whenever I ask them to explain anything about their beliefs they can't. So not only do they believe in something without evidence, they believe in it without even understanding it!
oh yeh, god is imaginary by the way...
