I think I love someone who has lots of things like myself.....he has been through a lot like myself so is this typical or is it usually opposites attract?

for the most part we were opposites but we separated because of what we had in common

opposites usually attract have been married to my total opposite for 13 years and we are still going strong there are things that will drive you absolutely nuts but then again you just cant help but love this person

my girlfriend are in some ways the same but in others completly different, to start with we find the most identical things funny we have same sence of humor we love the same sports we talk the same even some little things like counting and stuff we do identical the only things were different is what we engoy for a job i work in mines as a surveyor she works in a vet practise also some little things were completly different but we are in love with each other and i plann to get engaged this week end with her she is the love of my life so you and this other person can still be in love and make it work we have and i love her more then she even knows

The opposite in terms of personality...
I think that you have to be similar enough to enjoy each others company and understand one another, but different enough so that you don't step on on anothers toes and don't develop some unhealthy competition.

The term that "opposites attract" is very real. If we were all alike, the relationship would get very boring.
