Anything with blood or body fluids on it should be disposed in the red bags, except needles or other sharps.

the general rule is anything
"dripable"
"pourable"
"sqeezable"
or "flakable"

ex-gloves go in normal trash unless they are so covered in blood that it would flake off upon drying.

if it is sharp and could puncture the red bags place it in a red sharps container (like needles and glass)
