I have very course hair and find that if I use the same shampoo/conditioner for too long my hair starts to dry out quicker or get oily. If you are experiencing similar results, try to find two or three shampoos that you like and switch between them. Some of my favorites are Dove and Garnier Fructis.

Framesi color care shampoo is great and isn't too expensive. Salon shampoos have a lot less water than drug store shampoos. So even though a salon shampoo costs more than a drug store shampoo--you don't use as much salon shampoo--it is concentrated. don't use head and shoulders shampoo. it has a PH of 9.5--color has a PH of about 10. In other words Head and Shoulders will damage the hair. If any of you that use Head and Shoulders are losing hair try not using that shampoo.

Well I don' t know for sure where you are but I know here in Kansas Pantene is affordable and works great! I love it. You'll have to see if the store you have has the color safe one though. I'm pretty sure it does though. They have a lot of versions!

I love Pantene Ice Glacial. Also I like to use Samy Salon Systems but that tends to be a little expensive. =]

Well I would say..Head And Shoulders. It`s my favorite shampoo because it could get rid of the dandruff and make my hair soft and shiny.

Garnier Fructis or Herbal Essences. Both smell so good but herbal essences has different choices.

dove you can get it for lightened or darkened hair, very affordable. i have used it for over a year and every time i wash my hair it feels like the first time i used it. and it smells sooooo good. plus it doesnt weigh your down, so you have a little more body when you use it. it's the best.
