Ok so I was just wondering because i found out he ( this guy...lol) is protestant but im episcopelian. is there a difference? arent they both forms of christianity?please help! thanks!

Both are Christian denominations. The Episcopalians in practice somewhat reflect the Catholic church. Protestants are generally classified as Methodist, Baptist, Church of Christ etc. As for me I look at whether someone believes in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus instead of denominational affiliation. The Bible says to not be unequally yoked....believer with unbeliever. Put Jesus in the middle of your relationship, dating or married and you will do well.

Yep. I would say that Episcopalian is about as Protestant as one can get.
Protestant = in protest of the Catholic church and the pope. The Lutheran church and the church of England would be the 'original' Protestant churches. Episcopalian is the American version of the Anglican Church which is the Church of England.
The catholic church calls all churches outside Catholicism Protestant.

The Episcopal Church is a part of the Anglican Church of England, which is Protestant. Anything that isn't Catholic is Protestant, and they are all part of Christianity.

you need to look a little further into your faith. Episcopalians are one branch of Protestantism.
They are, if I'm not mistaken, an American branch of Anglicanism, which broke away from Catholicism during the time of Henry VIII.
The truth is, religion is nothing. Jesus Christ is the Resurrection and the Life. You must be born again.

Episcopal is Protestant too... there are several different Protestant denominations.

The former is a specific denomination of Protestantism. They are thought to be closer to Catholics, not in beliefs, but they tend to have more embellished masses like Catholics do.
