First the throwing up. When my kitty did that she had hair balls. She was long haired and we had quite a problem with the hair balls. As she got older I gave her cat-lax every week. That helped a lot.
The kitty litter problem. If you don't keep it cleaned it will smell. Use Tidy cat clumping and try to clean the litter box at least twice a day. I kept mine in the bathroom closet and that way I could see when it had been used and would scoop.
Cat hair. A slightly damp wash rag will pick up most of the hair on the sofa and you have to vacume often. If you have cats you are going to have cat hair. Just goes with it. A damp sponge also works well in picking up hair.
Hope this helps some. Enjoy those kitties.

I had this problem with one of my cats. It's probably an allergy to the food. I've noticed that with the cheaper food, a lot of cats tend to have an allergy to them. I would try getting a better brand of food such as Science Diet, Iams, or Eukanuba. Science diet makes a good dry food for sensative stomachs.

I would advise getting small bags of a brand to try them out. If changing the food to a better brand doesn't work, I'd take your cat into the vet. There could be a more serious underlying medical issue going on.

As for the cat litter smell. Baking soda does work. But I've also found that there are two other products that work well. First there is a litter deoderizer by Arm & Hammer. It works wonders, and smells great! You can get this at any pet supply store near you. You might even want to try your local humane society! Ours has trials of it. 3 trial boxes for $1.

You can also get natures miracle. They have a litter deoderizer as well, that works wonders too!

1. Find a good canned a dry food that will agree with Lucky. Ask your Vet for suggestions. Ask for a good air ball remedy also, it is something your put on their paws and they lick off.

2. Use a good cat litter, scoop everyday, add a little fresh. Then once a month or two empty, wash the litter box and fill up again. It is important for them to have a clean area always to go to.

3. Buy a product a your local pet superstore called Nature's Miracle, just for cats. I cleans up carpet and upholstery. Depending on the dry food, which have coloring in it will depend on how deep color the stain will be when they throw up on anything. I find friskies the worst for dark coloring in their up chucks. Follow directions on the bottle, it has worked for me. The only time I had to buy something else, I was at work and it must have happened in the early morning, when I came home, I had to cook dinner, then I tried to clean up my Siamese's mess. It left a faint stain, so I bought a product called Oops! and it took it out. Got it at my local hardware store, in the paint department. As far as the hair goes, vacumm and a tape lint roller in your house and in your car.

Your cat may be eating to much because he is afrade the other cat is going to eat all of the food and he will have none left over for him later. Try only feeding him half of what he gets now and in seperate rooms from your other cat. Liter is always going to have some sent to it, but what I do is put it next to a window / well ventelated room so the odor is not traped into a small space. Cat hair is a problem even for me, but I just do the best I can with a lint roller.

1. Feed him something different, their stomachs may not like it. Try feeding them the Friskies food in a purple bag, it has real milk bites in it that my vet said it calms their stomach.

2. Use Tidy Cat brand litter with the blue label. It'll say: " Tidy cats odor control formula." It works best and it has a reasonable price. Don't use the cheap stuff like at the dollar store because it doesn't work. ( why do you think that it's only a dollar?)

3. Brush the cats with a cat brush specifically made for shedding. At Walmart, get a pet lint brush and then use it for your furniture and clothes. It works great and it's only a dollar or two.

When you have cats hair becomes a condiment. Combing and brushing helps to control it. I use the dry sponge you get a pet store for $5 to take excess hair off furniture. I also use inexpensive cotton quilts on couches and chairs which I can launder easily.

Some cats unfortunately are sensitive to ANY grain in their diet, causing them to throw up their food. Cheap cat food with a lot of corn also makes the litterboxes smell horribly. Litterboxes should be scooped out daily - not every other day. **** smells and there is just no way to get around that. We can flush ours down the drain and not have to deal with much odor. With cats you just have to keep it as cleaned up as you can.

I am always suspicious of cat foods labeled "indoor", "hairball", "senior", "kitten" ect. Those are just marketing ploys from highly advertised foods where little money goes into quality of food and lots to pay the TV and magazine ads.
You will never see an ad for a quality cat food in the popular media. They use websites to inform you about their food and the money goes into healthy meat protein instead of advertising.

1. I think that the problem with throwing up is related to hair balls. My cat throws up when I go away for a day or two, probably from excessive grooming (She licks until she gets bald spots). The vet gave me an anti hair ball cream, but the cat doesn't like it. You could try combing Lucky to remove excess hair.
2. Cat urine is concentrated and acidic. The best way to handle it is to use clumping cat litter and scoop once a day.
3. Learn to live with cat hair. A vacuum works well on solid surfaces, but cat hair sticks to any fabic and is hard to remove. Like all Canadians, I love duct tape. One of the many uses of duct tape is removing cat hair from clothing. Give your fleecy sweaters the duct tape treatment.

Siamese and nil.5 siamese stay long lives. the usually happening lifespan with good vet care is between sixteen and 20. My vet sees an excellent sort of twenty-two year previous cats. I surely have a 0.5 siamese who's 17 this year, and the different one I had made it to twenty till now maximum cancers unfold in him. My siamese replaced into 19 whilst he went into renal failure. The checklist is 35 years yet that replaced right into a mixed breed cat, no longer a siamese.

1. Probably hairballs. You can puchase hairball remedy from places like Target, WalMart or PetSmart.
2. I use Fresh Step Crystals...it costs around $12.00 a bag, but my litter box NEVER smells anymore. This what the bag looks like: http://www.freshstep.com/prodcrystals.php
3. I don't know...when you find out, let ME know.
