For dessert, may I suggest, DEATH BY CHOCOLATE. It's pretty good

Though I have begun to notice a decline in the quality of Bennigan's food over the years, I have always ordered the same thing:
Baked Potato Soup and the Chicken Strips (with the honey mustard sauce... that's the key).

Also, their Death by Chocolate is fantastic, but I recommend sharing it with another person (or 2... or 3...). It's very rich.

The monte cristo. While many people on here are dogging Bennigans I am constantly upset that we do not have one where I live. I finally got to try it on a recent trip to Chicago and had their monete cristo...I have not found anywere here in KC to get one and it was awsome. I recommend sharing though as it is huge. I had to take half home and heat it up...if you do this I recommend doing it in the oven and ask for extra raspberry jam.

Try there Kilkennys Country Chicken Salad, it has chicken fingers on top of it, and it is so good. Or even just order the chicken fingers, trust me I know they are chicken fingers and you can get them at any restaurant, but their chicken fingers taste different, it is the breading, and there honey mustard is excellent. They also have some amazing steaks there.

Anything.... Really, the menu is great, and the waiter will make suggestions that you can count on. You'll enjoy it! You can order down home favorites, or you can " fancy it up" a bit. A very good choice for a restaurant!!

Nothing, this place is so played out, and living in Chicago I would think that you would want to go someplace more sheek and hip, Beenigans is sooo 80's. There are thousands of restaurants in Chicago. Please spend your money somewhere else more suitable, like Wildfire, etc..

Pick something that is very hard to mess-up, otherwise you will be in trouble.

I suggest the potato skins
