There are many different verses that say that being a fool or foolishness gets negative results. Just search for the word fool or foolishness.

See especially the verses from wisdom literature: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and those from the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
Note that foolishness in the Bible does not mean exactly the same thing as it means in modern usage. It has a connotation of moral failure, of doing what is wrong and failing to do what is right.

All throughout Proverbs there is talk of fools and lazy sluggards. One that comes to me is Proverbs3:35."The wise inherit Honor, but the fools he holds up to shame."
