People are people.

I do feel sorry that your people are in the situation that they are in in Palestine.

I also feel sorry for the Palestinians. I wish that there was some way to solve the problems your people and the Palestinians are faced with.

Love and blessings Don

The answer is so simple: THE JEWS ARE A RACE OF HOMO SAPIEN SAPIENS( that is one of the types governed by either religous or cultural choice, geography or alliagence of nationality or a group who claims common ancestory and common grouping) The bottom line is you are a bunch of human beings who have chosen to live either and/or together and acknowledge kinship with each other. Or share a common history.
So, personally I cannot see any good reason for all the fuss. You are alive, you are human, the same species as everyone else, you have the human charactaristics of morals, ethics and culture, you bleed when cut, you hunger when you go without food, and thirst when you go without water and one day you will die.
Just like all humans and most of the animald kingdom. I wish people would stop making all this useless and idiot fuss. Some of you might consider yourselves God's chosen people-but so does almost everybody bloody else. People should do two things: One, stop wasting their time and energy in puting up a fuss about another group of human beings and dividing the species and Two, judge human beings by the only way that human beings-a morally choosing creature-can be chosen. EACH ONE IN TURN INDIVIDUALLY. For isn't that is what morals are all about- the individuals concience, diliberate and moral choice-themselves and hence the criteria, because of their choosing between good and evil, of their judgement. And each human being must be judged by their abilties, merits and actions. So what I think of you's: You are group of human beings- A RACE OF HOMO SAPIENS.

Jewish people are people, and so they are similar in many respects to all other people, and yet as each group of people is different from the others, so too the Jewish people.

It gets a bit confusing when discussing this because are we talking about Jewish people in a genetic racial kind of sense, or in a religious sense? What is a Jew? Are the Falashas, the black Jews from Ethiopia who look like black Africans, Jews? How about the Bene Menashe from India, the now extinct Chinese Jews of Kaifeng, or European Jews who don't look at all Semitic? Are Jews who are Atheists still considered Jews? How about Jews who are Buddhist or Christian?

However to answer your question, i think of Jewish people first and foremost as people, nether better nor worse than anyone else. In terms of the Jewish religion, as a Christian i feel a certain affinity with it since Judaism and Christianity (and indeed Islam) have much in common.

Jewish are always proper and truthful to their knowledge, this is not bad, but very good. Sad thing is some times people do not regard honesty as pure, so tora is deemed as other than true.
Jewish people always have a proper and nice thing to say when asked, except with love issues, which I see you discard with humor and some distress, very much Adam like.
Personally I think jewish are a little biased about what they get for their presence and this was acceptable three centuries ago, not so to most, plus some believe they have a bigger room other places as well, not just a bigger portion of truth, which to be perfectly honest might not be exact to you either, with due respect of course.
This finishes with my dull respect and apreciation for being so polite and firm in commercial interests, especially being very concerned of suffering in Poland and Germany. Yom Kippur.

Are you referring to the religion or the race? Either way its not a very good question as most folks base their knowledge of Judaism on the movie THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. When in fact there is more to understanding the faith/race than that. Falasha/Sephardic are said to be the original Jews and the folks occupying Palestine are said to be Ashkinaze or Jewish converts from Russia that speak Yiddish or other Slavic languages...I'll stop here...~~~~W

To me Judaism is less a religion more the cultural difference of a distinct social group. Practicing this religion allows Jews to maintain their separate identity no matter where they live and within which ever other dominant cultures.

I love my people. I may be incredibly biased, because i am "us jews", but i love the jewish people. We are like dodgeball, a true underdog story. In america, we came with nothing, escaping persecution, and now we have the highest annual income of any religion in the U.S. We created the movie industry, the a-bomb, and the polio vaccine. 37 percent of american nobel prize winners are jewish, according to my mom. And yet we still face a lot of anitsemitism in the U.S. today. (just look at questions on yahoo answers!)

I feel for them, as the Arab world wants to see Israel destroyed. The Jews are the covernant people of God. Jesus is a Jew. Israel was scatted by God after Jesus came to the earth because the Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah. They have been brought back into the land of Israel by the hand of God in 1948 as one of the signs for Jesus return. Jesus could not return unless the Jews were back in their land. I do not know many Jews, but I did speak to an Israeli the other day who fled Israel and took his little son with him because of all the terror, and now lives in America with his American wife, and is a lot happier. He sounded a nice person. A lot of Jews love God enough to try and keep his covernant. A lot celebrate Holy days. God has not given up on them, as God is wanting them to get to know their Messiah Jesus and eventually they all will.

Gods Word says that "Whomever blesses Israel, I will bless. Whomever curses Israel, I will curse. This is very apparent in the modern world today. Just look at the countries who support Israel and then look at those who don't. Where would you rather live? The Jewish people are Gods chosen people, the apple of His eye and although at this time they still reject the Savior, Gods Word says there is a time coming when "All Israel will be saved"
I support Israel in everything. God Bless Israel and all my Jewish brethren. For your information, I am a Christian living in USA

A very broad question, but I'll try.
Every Jew is an individual.
As a Christian I see Jews as the People of God from whom our salvation came.
I associate Judaism with strong ethical reasoning.
If I have any Jewish ancestry, I don't know about it. But my mom used to boast that she had Jewish-style features and personality, and that Jews recognized her. Interesting.
