The link below is to a video on the PBS website which shows scientists trying to rationalize the big bang and also touches on string theory. Really pay attention to what these "experts" are saying, and consider the imagination (and determination to be right) required to concoct such theories, as well as the lack of any indicative or supporting evidence whatsoever.
And yet, the Bible? Phoooey they say...

By the way, the whole site itself is very interesting, and I would advise anyone to review the videos relating to our origins, and then consider the "logic" and "reasoning" used by many scientists.

P.S. - Because I know I am going to see many people saying "this is just a theory amongst others...blah blah..."

This post was to show an example of the absurdities scientists will promote to stay as far away from creation as possible.

Of Course! I show the absurdity of many scientists, and an atheist is quick to change to a totally unrelated topic, such as their adament disbelief in the Bible. Of course, the two ARE connected, I was just gonna let one of yall point that out first. The fact is, proof of the Bible, of Jesus' death and resurrection, and of God's existance, is all there, and I have posted many many links, but mine are all shot down as "irrational", "illogical", or "biased". Yet these scientists are so set against creation that they concoct their own fairy tales and then CLAIM that they are based in reality and make more sense than a creator. Get real...

There is much to set the Bible apart from other books, such as the number of authors, which makes the Prophetic accuracy of the Bible even more amazing, then there is the scientific, historical, and archaeological evidence supporting much of the Bible. Oh yeah, and then there is the Holy Spirit...but you wouldn't know anything about that.

result of human Pride. scientists rather make up bogus theories such as infinite parallel universes instead of believing in god.

It's called thinking.....Not just accepting.......just because you believe in the theory of invisible men in the sky doesn't mean other theories have no merit. Prove that a god made the universe without using a biased book. eg bible. You cannot. If I write a book saying leprechauns are real and then say they are real because my book says they are, does that make them real? Jeez....get a clue....
Anyone that would just accept the god tale as fact without hard concrete proof is , sorry to say, not very intelligent at all.

edit* Well show me the hard proof that makes your theory a law!
You cannot.....Your theory is just as outlandish as the craziest scientific theory. You obviously know very little if no science at all, because you don't understand that even creationism is a theory. You are a sheep being led where you are told to go. I feel bad for you. I wish that more people could have a mind of their own, but I am satisfied enough that I do. Sorry bout you luck. LOLOLOL

Is it hard for you to believe the Quran? Is it hard for you to believe Hindu writings, Buddhist writings, or any other religions writings? There is nothing in the bible that sets it apart from any other book.

Moby Dick was a great book, Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies, etc were all great books. I will give it, the bible, credit, it is the number one best seller of all time. But, it was also the first book ever printed.

My beoved friend in Christ, hush. A disciple of Jesus knows these truths and does not need to be convinced.
Some thoughts:
God is quite able to handle God. He doesn't need to be proved. In point of fact it is impossible to prove God. If one could, then the proof itself would be greater than God and thus become God and so forth and so forth.
The Resurrection is not supposed to be proved. Where would faith be? Jesus tried to direct Thomas on this.
The Bible was not written to be proved. It is an astounding tapestry of poems, history, genealogy, theology, yes - myths, proverbs, and the like. We are to grow from it as a plant does from the soil - not try to defend it.
