i have iTunes like a million other people but every time i try to plug in my iPod the icon on the left panel were its supposed to be never pops up , which means i cant put songs on it ! Please tell me how to fix this . cause im stressin ,

I know a lot about computers but I have no idea since I dont use Itunes. I have other program. But try installing it again and see if that helps.

reset it, and then put it into disk mode (see article below)
if it mounts, your ipod is fine. It's just not recognized by itunes. A restore should fix it. if it's still not working look at the seccond article below. next time RTFM please.

You should probably reset your iPod. To see how to reset (you didnt mention which iPod you have) check the manual on apples website http://www.apple.com/support/manuals/ipod/ There are some other tips on troubleshooting in the manuals also. Good luck

General rule of thumb is that i tunes is the worst on the planet. I tried it and it was extremely crappy so I quit as well as thousands of others more than likely.
