You can go to http://healthy.betterrecipes.com/index.html
They have tons of healthy recipes for any kind of food you can think of. There is also a website called EatBetterAmerica.com where you can submit unhealthy recipes and they will turn them into healthy recipes for you.

If I were you I would stock up on boneless skinless chicken breast(you can usually get them in huge bags frozen at a cheap price), cocktail shrimp by the pound is really not that expensive and you don't need a lot of it for most recipes, lowfat cheese (buy the generic brand if they have it), apples are a cheap healthful food, bagged salad, ect.

Season the chicken breasts and bake them in oven. You could also poor low-fat cream of chicken soup on them and serve with soup for an extremely cheap meal. You could also make chili just use low fat ground beef, tomato sauce, veggies of your choice, chili seasoning and a little bit of water.

Use the websites and they should really help you out!!!

Good luck!

Also watch weekly ads for fruit and veggies that are on sale.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMDvr

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

You want something really easy and cheap? Quesedillas. If you've never had one a basic one easy: a flour tortilla folded in half with cheese in the middle, grilled on a skillet or griddle. I prefer them with some butter cooked on the outside and with sour cream and salsa to dip in. You can also throw in any extra meats or veggies you have lying around. Add a little mexican seasoning if you want some spice and there you go!

I recommend stir-frys with a little healthy oil. You can add lots of different fresh vegetables (inexpensive and can change based on what looks freshest so you get variety) to suit your tastes and throw lean meats/seafood in with ease.

Another tactic is to explore spices and herbs. You can add tons of flavor to meals that have few ingredients and little fat by using them. Just watch out for salt. I recommend curry powders, adobo, chili powders, etc. You'll find that a lot of the dishes that accompany those seasonings lend themselves to healthy dishes, or at least dishes that can be modified to be made healthier, like lean turkey chili.

One of my favorites is a baked/roasted/seared (depending on your style) rosemary chicken with some oilve oil, adobo with roasted vegetables.

Look for the Four or Five Ingredient Cookbook. It's a lifesaver. My mom got me one and it's what I use half the time I cook.
