first of all, popularity doesn't mean anything, so maybe you have a mean personality of something. (I highly doubt that, though.) More likely, boys can be idiots, and it takes a long time for them to really notice the really great girls. Don't worry, they'll eventually see your great personality and stuff (you're probably popular for a reason) and it will all be good.

What makes you think they don't like you? Do they simply not talk to you, or do you KNOW they literally don't like you (openly ridicule you, etc.)?
If they just don't talk to you or approach you, it could possibly be intimidation. If you're beautiful it could be that they think they can't have you or it wouldn't work (reference the movie HITCH). What grade are you in? It could also be that they lack the confidence to approach. By the junior and senior year in high school, MOST boys have figured out a way to get rid of any "shyness".
I think someone said it already, but you could "tone it down" a little. If there's an arrogance you present in public, like this question tends to suggest, that could possibly be a turn off to some. There's plenty of time for boys and men in life. Just try concentrating on keeping your grades up, which will keep your parents happy, which will keep them buying all the expensive jeans you want. :-)

well how is your attitude ? Truthfully are you a nice person , or are you stuck on your self and your little cool or popular posse ? I am not saying making any judgments or being rude about it , just keeping it real . alot of girls are catty that are in you status thinking they are the most popular , I mean has everyone in the school told you your THE most popular ,over all else including your own friends who them selves are probably just as popular ,so maybe you could have said one of the most popular , so maybe its your attitude .maybe you should care about learning in school before boys because you cant spell very well take school seriously because no body is going to feed you but you once your away from mom and dad

May be their is something intimidating about you that others can sense, and you can't about your personality. Over confidant etc.
If your gorgeous a lot of guys won't approach you because some figure they don't have a chance. It doesn't sound like your shy.
You didn't say your age so may be the guy is immature. They say guys are two years behind girls in maturity.

You might be the most popular girl in school bacause you are very nice, and know how to listen and treat people, but maybe boys don't like you because you're not all that pretty for them or you think toooooooo much of yourself and guys don't like that.

I'm not even near the most popular..I'm the least...I'm that nerdy smart person that sits in the corner of class with my nose in a book all the time..and people love me..it doesn't matter how many friends you have..
actually there probably are people that really like you. but if you are really popular, the guys, being idiots, would probably think you already have someone..alot of someones who are kissing your feet, so they back off to protect themselves from the pain of rejection. this misunderstanding can cause alot of girls to feel like no one wants them. Maybe, instead, you should ask somone else out. or have you tried?

There are alot of diffrent type of guys out there but they all agree on one thing popular girls are just drama!! Sorry to say but you seem snobby, conceited, and you think your the sh**, only because you said YOUR the most popular girl in school. Some guys dont want alot of attention when there going out with some girl especially popular girls most of them just want to keep it on the low. Maybe you should change your attitude or the way you think not everyhting revolves around you!!!!

They assume you are taken. They think there is no way in the world the most popular girl in school is interested in me - and they act invisible around you (or like you are invisible because they think you are out of their league). You need to be a bit more bold. Ask a boy to walk you home or invite one to have a pizza sometime. If you are a nice person, any of the single ones would be thrilled to have your interest and attention.

Well, this is the 'homeschool' forum, so if you're saying you're the most popular girl in school...and you are homeschooled...well, you just didn't have much competition in the popularity contest, did you? And, given we're talking about home school, the boys in your school...um, maybe you don't want them to like you too much.

If you were the most popular girl in school they would. Maybe you think too much of yourself. Boys arent into girls with huge egos.
