The Dallas Morning News 9/28/03 p.1,10S had a story about the sad plight of Muslim Nigerian girls who were married very young, got pregnant and had labor before their small bodies were ready. It was actually somewhat of a gross story, basically of many girls who needed C-sections but did not get them. Many survived, but could not have any children due to their perforated uteruses.

There are tens of thousands of Hadiths that were collected centuries after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) passed away. Many even contradict Quran and not all can be taken as authentic. The fact that she was 9 years old is still disputed and some she was a teenager. Even though this was never a problem till only recently because it was considered okay in those days.
And what about the fact that in Exodus it is allowed to sell ones daughter as a slave? Why don't i ever hear that?

Do you know why Mohammad (PBUH) wedded Aisha at that age? His marriage to all his wives had extremely significant political and religious reasons, and there are very important incidents that occur resulting in marriage. In some cases, as Aisha's, the marriage was a direct command from GOD Himself, commanding Mohammad to wed little Aisha. Mohammad (PBUH) did NOT want to do such thing, yet he could not refuse GOD's command. (I'm not well informed of the incident, so I apologize on the lack of details and explanation.)
If you were aware/knowledgeable of the REASON for this, then you wouldn't be so ignorant and rude.

by all accounts of Muslims and non-Muslims the prophet Muhammad was a trustworthy, honest, and sincere man of INTEGRITY. But it seems like some people who hate Islam like to bring up this message now ( current times ), I'd like to ask why didn't the enemies of Muhammad (pbuh) try to assassinate his character by bringing this up? They never brought it up because he wasn't doing anything wrong for them to attack.
