Both. The caffeine isn't good, but a lot of teas don't have caffeine. On the flip side, there are lots of health benefits of tea. It has been proven to help reduce your chance of cancer(full of anti-oxidents). Hope this helps!! By the way, if it's a religion thing, you might not want to "rub it in her face." Just say everyone likes different things and I like tea.

Actually, you proved the churches point yourself. "i drink lots of tea..." I dare you to not drink tea for one week, can't do it can you. it's called addiction. this means you put your body in slavery with tea.

Yes, there has been some healthy things proven to come from tea. But, there are bad things to, "hot drinks" are generally unhealthy. your body naturally heats food and drink up to body temperature for digestion. however, the body can't cool food or drink. drinking things too hot will not only burn and scare the esophagus, but the stomach as well causing ulcers.

Drinking tea in moderation can be a little helpful but not much, overall it's just best to avoid it.

Green tea is very healthy for you. It's known to be the healthiest beverage in the world next to water.

Besides, it's a Mormon Bible, they make up a lot of their rules or alter Biblical verses to fit their own needs.
