How does that make it true? Why does there have to be a beginning if there has to be a beginning. And god made everything then who made god. You say well he’s always been around. But to your logic that is impossible. I don’t see how it is possible for god to always exist. But it is not possible for the atom that was there before the big bang to always of been there. I don’t think either are necessarily true. Some people say it has to be one or the other but I see that as irrational thinking. I think the big bang is alot more probable then the god theory.
Sorry about my punctuation

Let me retype that. Why does it make god real if you think evolution or the big bang are flawed. Somehow you think it its all just black and white.

You idiot are still staying gods true by debunking the other. I just said the big bang is a theory i do not take it to be literal truth. And evolution is nothing like a house. It is fueled by organism who evovle over millions of years. You can see this dailty for example how diseases are starting to become immune to some antibiotics. A HOUSE IS MADE OUT OF WOOD AND NAILS. AGAIN LET ME REPEAT A HOUSE IS MADE WITH WOOD AND NAILS. That does not mean it is true though it is a theory. I have never met a christian that has said that about there own religion. Which sometimes makes me believe they are just close minded. Yall are proving that theory.

correct. It is ridiculous for people to say "everything has a cause...except God". And at the same time say, "everything is bound by time...except God".
-The funny thing is to ask them, "well we know that the big bang happened, so what caused it?" Without fail they will say "God". It is completely illogical and pointless to answer everything we do not know about with "God did it". If our ancestors answered every question they did not know the answer to with "God did it", then we would still be living in caves covered in raw animal furs trying to figure out when God would send us fire again.
HAHA, like the genius whose answer is below mine. How ON EARTH he can say "logically it was God" is beyond me and COMPLETELY ridiculous. I could just as easily ask myself, "Why is my car tire flat?" Since I do not know the answer, then I must say "God did it". The funny thing is that they really do not see the COMPLETE lack of logic in their HUGE assumptions.

I know that you cannot understand that God could have always existedthis view I understand how could you possibly understand what you have not experienced for yourself? You cannot fathom God's being wothout beginning and without end, because, everything else you know in your life, has a beginning and an end, but can you fathom the universe, it has no beginning and no end, can you fathom that even though you do believe it,I'm sure because you have been taught that, then how do you know that the unuverse has no beginning and no end?Can you fathom or tell me how big is the universe? No! Why?Because it is not fathonable to you,if I said to you that your house was not built but popped up out of nothing or because of a big bang.
Would you think that was rational?or would that truly be irrational?I think the latter would be true! God is not a theory like your big bang theory, which is why even you call it probable in your own statement because deep down you do not really think it is true! And you're right it is not true the big bang is really irrational and not even logical.

The big bang and evolution are excellent scientific theories - for now they are the best we have.
Genesis 1 and the creation story conflicts with them only when someone insists on it being a literal story. It isn't. It is a highly refined copy from earlier creation stories such as the Ugaritic Gilgamesh Epic. Like the big bang theory, Genesis 1 seeks to explain certain phenomenon. For now it is the best we have. Examples would include:
a) Chaos had to be overcome for order to evolve/emerge. Black holes and the big bang are both based on this.
b) Order is successive - a foundation of evolution.
c) Creation/world/existence is morally neutral, and good. Thus we have been able to move away from scientific efforts to dedemonize this or that item.
There is a lot more in Genesis 1. You don't ask a paleolithic archaeologist to handle quantam mechanics. Don't ask first grade Sunday School to handle Genesis.

The big bang theory has already been proved not true. The law of conservation of angular momentum will not allow planets, moons, and whole galaxies to spin the way they do if they were the result of the big bang.
I agree with you about 'one way or another'. There may be some other possibility for our origins that has not been thought of. However, for the moment we only have two. The biggest problem we all have in trying to sort through all the evidence we have is our preconceived belief of how it started. To your astonishment, you will find, if you check, that all who say they believe in evolution-can not defend that belief with facts, no one.

God doesn't give an explanation for the beginning of the universe. People gave that explanation, thousands of years ago, trying to answer "how did we get here." Now we know different, that doesn't mean there isn't a God, or supreme being, or some living energy that we can't define.

God didn't give an explanation of the beginning. Man did. Man wrote the bible.
Why would God choose to create life on Earth? Why not any other planet? Evolution, baby! I'm with ya!

you are correct Christians are talking hypocritical when they say well how did the atom get there. when someone else could turn the question around. how did god get there. the only answer i can come up with is. Faith. you put you faith either in an almighty God who has a plan for you and for everyone else. or you put your faith in an atom that just so happen to hit the right molecule and make a universe with no plan or design. which sounds more rational to you?

Perhaps there is more to truth than knowledge as there could be more to goodness than purity. Many people can good intendedly asset to creation and sorrow, and being this true, other things could be more than truth or words. It could mean there is some void or warp created around head so these people not just know things happening but create them at these very moments to expand comprehension and perhaps suffering. Bye.

Divine entity/ies, if truly divine, will not be able to be understood by human logic. We understand science on Earth because we are the most advanced species--it doesn't account for beings that are more greatly advanced.
By the way, isn't your name that of the lead singer/sole member of Bright Eyes?

God created our time-space universe, without the time dimension it is not possible for the universe to start (cause-action), I believe that God was the first cause. Since god created time, god never required a beginning unlike his creation which requires a beginning. God is not subject the the universe (time, space) just like a programmer is not subject to the laws of the program. hope this helps. peace.
