I am a jehovahs witness and as u know I shayla c asked that question do u not like jehovahs witness and I am 9 years old and it is kinda of fun not to celebrate holidays because we get to be with other jehovahs witness and have partys and play and everything well I would like to know do u guys not like me as a friend because I am a jehovahs witness??????????

shayla, I don't know you. I don't know if I like you or not. And you're NINE years old... I don't dislike you for being indoctrinated into a faith you never consented to follow in the first place. Children can't help being forced into the religion of their land and their lineage.

When someone is judged before being met it is not the person them self that is being disliked it is something else. As Witnesses we know that people believe things that are not true about us just as people made up lies a Jesus, and still at times do. If you have trouble making friends don't worry, you are not alone. Many of us have had trouble, and still do. I myself often have trouble communicating clearly to others. This can be a roadblock. I also have had problems because of prejudgment. It has at times been because I am:White, Male, Not Handsome, Somewhat overweight, Not interested in sports, and also often because they have misconceptions about Witnesses. Look within the congregation and the surrounding areas. While that is no guarantee of friendship you at least will be looking in a place where people know you are a Witness and will not hold your beliefs against you.
PS At 9 you really should not be on the net unchaperoned.

There are some mean people on this board. I may not share your beliefs, but the Jehovah's Witnesses I have known and met have been pretty nice folks, and you seem like a pretty nice kid too.

I have a friend who is Jehovah's witness, We don't have any problems getting along. Generally we don't discuss religion. She knows where I stand and I know where she stands. Fair enough?

hi people on here will say nasty things about Jehovah Witnesses because they don't know Jehovah or Jesus Christ. don't worry what they say or think. we are a worldwide brother and sister hood and we all love one another. we are not a cult or brainwashed as people think we are. and yes I do love you as a brother. coming from a mother of three. they know nothing about us so they will say anything on here. don't let it bother you. they think we force our religion on them, no one can do that.

I don't agree with the theology of Jehovah's Witness, but I have nothing against them. I don't understand why people hate or dislike people who have different beliefs or look different.

yes I like you,just because I dont agree with you doesnt make me dislike you,there is many religions and if we all disliked each other because we didnt believe the same there would be no real friends because God is love and His first commandment is love we can agree to diagree
