Ok,see I have a boyfriend named ChrisFisher and we have been going out for about 8-6 weeks. Before we went out he was dateing one of my friends to make me want him more..........then he said he lied about likeing her and really like me....then he found out that I liked him and we started to go out.....Why do you think he lied to my friend about likeing her to get me?????

Because he has been watching too many tv shows and movies where that actually works... If it were me I'd wouldn't want to date him now that he hurt my friend like that, but that is just what I would do...

I think that he lied to you to tell you what you might want to hear. No one wants to hear that yeah, I liked your friend, but now i like you too.

i was trying to do that recently because i really like my best friend
so i started pretending girls like me and i like her friend
but then it never worked
its something called SOCIAL PROOF
common in most ppl
whenever they see some1 being attracted by others, that person makes him/her want the other one more
