What if I showed non believers a picture of a man standing in the middle of a fire, unaffected by the flames? He even has a grass skirt on that is not even singed. I promise it is not a doctored photo either. It happened during a ceremony in Papua New Guinea...I think.I'm not entirely sure of the actual location. My religion teacher did a slide show of a trip he took, and he took the picture himself. He is old and wouldn't know how to photoshop a picture even if he wanted to. I'm just saying...people always ask for proof of the supernatural. I think it is very good evidence. I am going to email him and ask him to send me a copy. Tell me what you think.

What it would prove is that there is at least some sort of supernatural out there. It wouldn't prove any one specific religion right, but it might prove some non-religions wrong.

No mark, come on....give me a little more credit than that. I understand the difference between illusion and reality. I also mentioned how there was no possibility of it being a forgery. Viewing me as some ignoramus might make it easier for you to not believe me, but it would be an incorrect conclusion.

Penny....That person was given power by Satan to stand in the fire. It is convenient for Christians now days to say that miracles don't happen because they have been done away with, but the Bible shows in many other verses especially acts that the Holy Spirit enables us to perform miracles through Jesus. The main reason we do not do them today is from lack of faith, we are afraid to ask for fear of failure, and we don't want to look weird. In the last days his Holy Spirit will once again be poured out on His followers like during Pentacost. But simply saying that no miracles occurred after Jesus, would actually be contrary to scripture.

Stephen, it was not from the side, why would you assume that? Plus....you can see the hot gases distorting the light in front of him, you can clearly see that he is in the MIDDLE of the fire and untouched.

I know three little Hebrew boys that experienced the same thing. Since God is the same yesterday, today and forever, it isn't surprising to me. It's actually encouraging. Thanks.

It would only prove that someone is a great illusionist.
Galatians 1:8,9
1 Timothy 6:3
2 Timothy 14:3
Ephesians 4:13,14
IN 1 Corinthians 13 ...the things that were did in part ( prophesies, tongues, miracles) were done away with , when that which is PERFECT CAME ( JESUS CHRIST )
So anyone CLAIMING to be SUPERNATURAL would be a false teacher and preaching false doctrine!

One photograph is not "proof," merely an instance of proof. Think what would've happened in NASA had been experimenting on how to get the shuttle out into orbit, and did only one experiment that worked. Think about what would happen if a cook cutting a blowfish did it right the first time by accident and assumed that every other time would be the same.
I've seen photographs of all kinds of crazy things. I'll probably continue seeing photographs of all kinds of crazy things. Hell, I've photographed crazy things. "Supernatural," maybe. But people originally thought eclipses were supernatural, too.

Do you believe that a magician can really walk through a wall or make buildings disappear?
That is all a trick...So a man standing in fire without burning seems quite simple when you see all the "supernatural" things being done by magicians!

It's an illusion. Don't you know you are looking at a side view of the man so it looks like he is in flames. If you were to hover above the man, you would see that he is not anywhere near the flames, but the circle around him is clear of the flames. But from your position, from the side view, it looks like he is engulfed in flames but unharmed by them. It is all an illusion.

I think that one does not have to have proof to believe but faith, blind faith. Blind faith is the act of believing in something that you can't prove exists. I believe in Jesus Christ and the one true God and I don't need proof, I have faith.

Hi Hansel, Yes, i belief it. Boy, i would really like to take a peek at that picture. It's something like walking on hot coals, and not getting one burn. But your whole body without a burn,WOW got to see. A Believer.

I think you're wasting your time. Many people wouldn't believe you even if you could show them heaven itself.
