I went onto the scale today and it read a number I've never seen before. I don't know how I could possibly weigh that, when A- I've physically been bigger than that. B- All I ever do at work is walk, walk, walk b/c I work in a hospital. Non-stop on my feet. So, I was taken back when I saw that. I was wondering if it could possibly be muscle gain? Also, any advice on what I should do to lose about 5-10 lbs?

before you do anything, you should weigh yourself again in about 3/4 days.
i know that if i weigh myself everyday, the scale always varies due to water weight, bloating, and other things like that.
and since muscle weighs more than fat, i wouldn't go by your weight, as much as i would go by your measurements.
do you notice your clothes fitting differently? do they fit tighter? loser? the same?
if they fit the same, and not any tighter, then i honestly wouldn't worry about anything.

but if you want weight loss and not muscle gain, i would suggest doing cardio, like power walking, jogging, running, treadmill.
and of course, stay away from as much sweets as possible, make sure you eat breakfast everyday to kick start your metabolism, and eat small meals every 3 hours to keep your metabolism going, and try not to eat anything at least 3 hours before you go to sleep.

hope that helps!! good luck!!

If you take in a lot of sugar then that should be the first to go. Switch your regular soda to diet and then get rit of it all together if you can.

Muscle does weigh more than fat does....but you would need to do a body fat index to know for sure what you have/don't have...
