YES, the almond bark chocolate is the best & cheapest.
I would suggest you freeze the strawberries first, before dipping. Melt the chocolate as suggested and dip. Place the dipped strawberries on a cold cookie sheet lined with freezer or parchment paper. Leave the stem on for easier dipping, too.

There are various products on the market to make chocolate covered strawberries. Dolci Frutta can be found in the produce department. It comes in a small round carton and all you do is microwave it and dip your berries. Easy as pie and they taste really good too!

You can buy something called chocolate bark at the grocery store in the baking section (usually near the choc chips, etc.). It's fairily inexpensive considering how much you get. You can just melt the choc bark in the microwave and then dip the berries. Place them on wax paper until they harden completely, and they'll come right off of the paper.

Get like a block of packaging foam (cube things), some cocktail sticks! Then put the cocktail stick thru the strawberry, dip in the chocolate and pierce into the block (this will stop the strawberry sticking if you use a plate) once done place in fridge until hard

Get the chocolate almond bark and melt. I melt mine in a crock pot, it doesn't scorch that way. Wash and dry the strawberries. Dip them in the chocolate. Indulge!!!!

I would do it with Magic Shell chocolate ice cream topping, so it will harden during refridgeration and stay on the berries.
