Been there. Done that. Makes the toenails grow nicely.
Anyway. Easiest way I've found is get an old dishpan. Put shoe in it. Put in only enough water to just start coming up the sole of the shoe. Leave it for a couple hours. When you take it out the crap just kind of falls off. Just rinse them under the water. Sometimes ya need a popsicle stick or a stiff brush to help it. But most of it just plops off. While your waiting for it you can manicure those beautiful toenails that grow from so much fertilizer. ha ha

It sounds like you need to do a little poop scooping in your yard!!!
To get the poop out of a shoe, soap and water works the best (Just breath through your mouth so you don't smell it...) and use a old toothbrush (The freebies from the dentist that nobody actuall y uses work great) to scrub it out of the grooves.

Yes it did when I did have a dog! Just run it under water and get a plastic knife an scrape it over the trash! That always helped me! Well good luck and maybe watch out for the dog poop for now on it helps to look before you step!
Have a nice day and God bless!

It happens. I know I spend time cleaning out poop squishes and I just shurg it off, perhaps because I wear sandals when walking my dog and the squish can be scraped off by a paperto n and rinsed off with soap and water. Reason I wear sandals when walking my dog.
The only way to solve this problem is to either scoop up the poop or hire someone to scoop up the poop for you. Or you can change your shoes and wear shoes that are easy to scoop poop off in case it happens again. Good Luck.

Toilet brush hung at the back door to use to brush it out. I have 5 large dogs so just hanging the washing out is a mission and a half to avoid the land mines.

That's why dogs suck, particularly in comparison to cats. A cat instinctually defacates in a box intended for that purpose. A dog couldn't care less about sanitation. That's why we call women that we don't like "bitches." Dogs are cute, but they stink. If you pat them, your hands smell horrible. Then they go relieve themselves wherever. I'm not against dogs. I'm against dog masters who can't accept the responsibilities of dogs.
Grow up.

It just goes to show how stupid humans are. Have you ever seen a dog stand in human poo?

because dog poo is a pretty squishy substance, and if you compress it into a texture, it will fill in the grooves of that texture.

I have learned to watch where I walk. But, yes it makes me very mad if I do happen to step in it.

well lets see you have already answered this question yourself
"it takes me a while to get it off my work boots!!!" either let it dry then smack the shoes together or go get a hose and start spraying the "sh*t" out of them
