I need to loose at least 5kg (11 pounds) by February 16th? Would i be better off eating say, an apple for brekky, an apple for lunch, 8 glasses of water and a normal dinner with 30min-hour exercise per day, or high protien low carb?? Please serious answers only i know that you need to eat a balanced meal etc etc, count calories etc. But honestly which one out of the two would i shed more weight the fastest???

No, eat like a normal person. I'd go with low carb/high protein but that doesn't mean you can eat like a pig. You still need portion control. A typical low-carb day would be:
Break: 1-2 eggs + 1-2 slices of bacon or 1/4 an avocado (or a protein shake)
Lunch: 2-4 cups of salad + 4 ounces of protein, 2 tablespoons of cheese
Dinner: 1-2 cups of salad, 1-2 cups of vegetable (low glycemic), 4-8 ounces of protein, a little salad dressing, some nuts
Avoid all sugars like rice, pasta, chips, potatoes, bread, fruit and sweets.

High protein is still a diet, with pretty serious portion control- no 20 pieces or bacon and 2 pounds of meat or cheese a day. Lots of water, too.
