It is certainly *NOT* too late to return to Jehovah's Witnesses!

A former Witness who is merely inactive can immediately rejoin *ALL* the activities of a typical Witness, including meeting attendance, meeting participation, theocratic ministry school, field ministry, assemblies, conventions, etc. Congregation elders may assign a mature Christian to re-study one or more books with the reactivated person, and to help mentor him in the field ministry (again).

Especially if the reactivated Witness has been isolated from congregation for several years, congregation elders will not be shocked to learn that some serious sin has been committed. The main focus of congregation elders will be on helping their brother or sister to STAY strong into the future. It is true that those who have lived a particularly scandalous lifestyle would likely be formally reproved or disfellowshipped for a time before they could qualify to be reinstated to the congregation.

Of course, a lapsed Witness's main focus should be on restoring his eternal relationship with Jehovah and Christ, rather than in avoiding temporary awkwardness and embarrassment.

I'm glad you've matured enough to know you need to make a change in your life. Jehovah is a very merciful God.

King Manasseh is a fine example of how far a person can go and still be forgiven. (2 Chron. 33:13)

There are many reasons for leaving the truth.

Even apostates are welcome if they repent, turn around and return to pure worship.

Though an apostate can return, it may become to late, because in opposing Jehovah, this action becomes a way of life, to the point that they fulfill the prophecy of becoming part of the evil slave, who have nothing better to do than hinder those truly searching for the truth.

Of course you can, you still know the story of the prodigal's son don't you? Jehovah would never turn his back on a truly repentant person. Go to the nearest Kingdom Hall and Jehovah will take care of the rest. My wife was inactive for many years when I met her, her returning brought me into Jehovah's organization, and now we have both spent the last decade together in the truth.

It's never too late.

But before you return to the "truth", you might want to examine the history of the Witnesses and take a more objective look at some of their teachings.

I did, and much to my dismay I found the truth about the "truth". It is actually a religion built on Pastor Russell's belief that Jesus had returned invisibly to the earth in 1874 - far from the "truth". That isn't to say that everything they believe is wrong, but it turns out that quite a bit of it is not as clear-cut as you were led to believe.

Of course you are discouraged from reading anything negative about the Watchtower, but the real " truth" can stand up to scrutiny,

Also, I might mention that I left the Witnesses because I found out they didn't teach the truth. I say this because Witnesses have the idea that people only leave because they want to practice sin or be "worldly". That is definitely not always the case.

no it is not too late, but I would not wait too long because the time is getting very close. Please don't feel that Jehovah or His organization hates you. Just go visit your local Kingdom and start slow by going to the Public Talk every Sunday. That's what I am doing right now. But the most important thing is to pray pray pray. I could not emphasize this enough, otherwise none of us would make it. I will keep you in my prayers.

I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, but a JW friend of mine told me once that there was a process that a removed individual could rejoin the organization.

Remember the Prodigal Son. Return to God's Organization & don't listen to anything anyone says. You should know that it is Satan trying to get to you. Jehovah is "ready to forgive.' Give him a chance. And yes this reply is from your possibly future brother.

ZEPH 1:14 “The great day of Jehovah is near. It is near, and there is a hurrying [of it] very much. this is the year text.
Jehovah doesnt want any destroyed but wants all men to repent and come back to him.
