How do you women feel about how terribly underestimated and undervalued you are in the Bible?

Have you ever had the feeling that Christianity has been more harmful than helpful to women??

Of course they are not just the same. Christians have revised the interpretation of their bible until now they have women about equal. The Protestants even have women Preachers. Muslim women still ware rags over their heads. Both religions are crap I agree, But that's the way it is. You are despicable. Have a can of spinach. OO

Chrisianity has been in no way harmful to women. Now man's interpretation of religous writtings put into practice by men who fail to understand it, or have little regard for them as you, have at times done great harm.

Christianity, is based on the teachings of Christ and prophecies fortold of his coming and purpose.

Women are of the most sacred of Gods creations. It was to them that was entrusted the creative powers to fulfill the the first and great comandment.

God said that he created man in his own image, male and female created he them. Being all knowing he could have chosen a different path or creation to be a companion to Adam but he didn't. Why? Because he is truth, unchangable, from first to last. He created us in his image, man and woman. Just as had been done here to fore since the begining.

Out of respect for our holy Mother who, as all women, we should revere as the bearers of life. He would not allow for the abasing of her image as you have attempted to do here. As such he did not discuss or endanger her name as he did his own. He would not allow for the disucussion of the type of vile base insinuations you are making to be associated with the most revered of all.

No where in the teachings of Christ does it abase women. Quite the opposet. Angels interceeded on behalf of Mary to calm the struggles and failings of Joseph to understand. Yes, because Eve was beguilded by Satan she was punished and became mortal as did Adam. But it was because of the wisdom of Eve, in making that tough decission that the fulfillment of the plan of God was moved forward. Otherwise they may have remained in an immortal unknowing state in the Garden of Eden for a much longer period failing to carry out the first and great commandment, to multiply and replenish the earth. God was and is all knowing. He knew that she would make that decission. That is why he put her there.

There are writtings in the scriptures of the failings of men that have treated the daughters of God badly, but they are not the teachings of Christ or of Christianity.

The teaching of Christ are nothing like that. They are quite the opposet on all counts. They are of forgiveness, love, charity, willingness to be submissive to the will of the Father. Hmm.... sounds more of that that would be taught of our mothers don't you think?

It doesn't bother me at all...I don't feel underestimated or undervalued...due my faith, respect, and understanding of the Scriptures, I am happy being a female. Plus, there was only one man who walked on water, so where does that leave you?
