It comes from sleeping with your mouth open with dry air. Try getting a humidifier for the air and some breath right strips to retrain your body to breathe out of your nose again. They are just for snoring.

Usually it's from breathing through your mouth when you sleep. There are over-the-counter mouthwashes now that can be used to help prevent dry mouth. Try brushing your teeth and rinsing with this before bed. "Tom's of Maine" and "Biotene" are a couple of brands that are on the market now.

Its from the dry air.
Try getting a humidifier, and keep it on at night while you sleep.
it's also great for people who suffer from allergies. You can get one for 20 dollars at Wal-mart.

Probably because you breathe through your mouth when sleeping.
Breathe through your nose when sleeping...and if you find breathing through your nose hard, you might have enlarged adenoids.
