Is there a problem with your fingerprints if the computer cannot scan them?

I'm guessing you're referring to scanning fingerprints for security\login purposes.

If your computer won't recognize\scan your fingerprint make sure the "window" is clear and clean.

You may have to reinstall the drivers for such.

Does it scan others fingerprint?
