I am attending a wedding in Londonderry in mid-April this year. My flight is arriving at Belfast International Airport in the morning. I wondered if train service is available and would be the easiest way to go to Londonderry. I prefer not to rent a car since I drive infrequently at home in New Jersey.

From Belfast Central;

7.03am
8.53am
10.43am
12.31pm
2.22pm
4.13pm
5.33pm
6.02pm
7.53pm
9.16pm

Journey takes around 2 hours...but it would be best to check the times at around the time you're leaving America, as the timetables between Belfast and Derry might have changed for summer season.

Belfast International Airport isn't that close (in Northern Ireland terms anyway) to Belfast. It is a few miles south of Antrim, which is on the Belfast-Londonderry rail line.

Therefore your best bet is to get the taxibus link from the airport to Antrim station, and then get the train from there to Londonderry. There is no need to go into Belfast city.

Use the links the previous answerer provided for more information.

Yes, there is a frequent and generally reliable train service between Belfast and Derry. The easiest way to Derry is to get a taxi/bus to Antrim from the International Airport; there you can get a train direct to Derry. Or, you can get a bus from the Airport to Belfast, and get the train from there.
