I think Sage is a gorgeous color. Sage, Lavendar, and Ivory go together real well or you could do a sage, pink or yellow and ivory. I also think silver would be very pretty as well. Congrats on your wedding! I bet it will be beautifull.

My wedding is this July, and my colors are celedon (which is a shade of sage) cream, with subtle touches of lilac. The colors are all working quite well together. My bridesmaids are wearing celedon dresses with silver accessories. The flowers are mostly antique green (another shade of sage) hydrangeas, cream cabbage roses and hints of lilac here and there. Place cards and table #'s are cream with a sage border, and invitations are a patterned sage border on cream backgrounds with a vellum overlay printed in silver ink. Like I said, my wedding is in the summer and the colors are really nice for the time of year and time of day I will be having it, but I think they would look equally as beautiful for a winter wedding. Especially with the silver as an accent. If you don't like lilac as an accent you could always go with almost any other color (except red) since sage is pretty much a neutral green. Best of luck to you!

I agree..Sage is great! And in the winter, I think "sage" will add a touch or warmth. You would'nt go wrong w/either a light or dark sage color.
I have to say that I think going w/white and silver along with it would be REALLY pretty and elegant. It would look very wintery. If you wanted a little contrast color to add depth, you could always add some natural deep red cranberry (either just the color or the actual berries!) or a deep plum berry color.
Just have fun w/it. Experiment w/some color combos and just go w/what really strikes you!
CONGRATS!

pale pink goes very nicely with sage, as do most pastel colors. Sage also goes really well with chocolate brown and/or orange which are this years most popular colors:) What I suggest is that you go to a paint shop, pick a paint swatch in sage and then match it up against a variety of other colors and see what you like best, you may be surprised:)

Sounds pretty....I also like sage and ivory as well...Also, for a winter wedding, I absolutely love a color I found on the Alfred Angelo website called Claret, and I think ivory would be beautiful with this color as well. Hope this helps!

I would do sage, cream and gold. You could get a lot of decorations with cream and gold around the christmas time. I got married in February and did blue and silver with a snowflake theme, just bought everything after Christmas when it was on sale.

Eh sage? I would have either a dark blue or a ice blue, silver and white. With maybe a snowflake theme.

Sage and a Icy Blue would also be beautiful, to make it sorta seasonal you could add snowflakes as a holiday touch without being christmasy. They also have beautiful lavender and blue flowers with silver accents and ribbons, table mirrors OHHh it would be amazing! haha Congrats!
