hes about to be 19
ive been going out with my bf for 3 years
and everything has been great

but today he got mad at me cuz he saw me talking
to one of my guy friends
but i meen i wasnt flirting with my friend or anything
but he still got mad
and i was like why dont u want me to talk to him

and he was like
"i dont like u talking to him"
but he was soo mad about it

he had never acted this way

im confused
i dont get it

He sounds like a loser and is also insecure. Normally I would say dicth him and find a new bf, however as you have been going out for 3 yrs then tell him to chill and after 3 yrs he should be trusting you!!

This could be easy, or complicated.

Maybe your bf has a reason for not liking the guy that he doesn't want you to know about.
He could just be going through a jealous phase.
......or maybe he doesn't trust himself, so he thinks that you'd do the same that he might with the opposite sex??????

Think about your situation and what might clue you as to the cause of the problem.

He's just being a little bit jealous. It's natural. I guess after 3 years, he feels like he has some kind of right to tell you who you can and can't communicate with. As long as he doesn't take it to any extreme, you wouldn't sweat it too much. If he does, you'll have to let him know that he's not the boss of you...just a boyfriend.
