Paint varies a LOT by what color and type. White gloss isnt super expensive. Its cheaper if they dont have to do any mixing, pearl, candy and metallic coat cost more than gloss, and then it depends on how many coats and how many gallons per coat it is. You have a better chance of getting an insurance quote.... or maybe getting a PennDOT worker to actually do something than getting a quote for a paint job at all let alone for a classic car. The interior will probably be used. depends on condition. Im not an interior guy so I wouldnt know.

The big Mustangs (71-73) were never very collectible. Yours sounds pretty generic, so it won't command the price of, say a mint Boss 351 of that era. It all depends on the buyer. Barrett Jackson had a showroom condition 71 convertible last year that went for $35k.

It all depends on where you live, like in Canada (where I live) you can probably get away with selling it for anywhere between 3 and 7 thousand bucks, I'm talkin' Canadian of course. Depending on how well the Engine runs etc, and selling it in the winter time isn't the best idea if you are in a snowy place, but It is worth as much as you can get for it is what my father used to tell me ;)

If the body is in "good" shape and you have an excellent engine in it then I would say about one or two grand. If the engine is only decent (as I suspect it is) only about 800-1000 dollars. You may find a sucker though who will over pay if you're lucky...

You can get information about vehicle values on vehix.com, and from similiar websites. All you have to do is search something like "used car values".
